Hi Nigel, looks like it is my bad, I looked at this image....... and saw the text underneath "1901" then spotted the different IMPRESOS font, I concluded that this new font size, was for a later printing eg: 1901 I can see the author has them all under 1899, so you were correct. Mr. Steiner has these 2 pages back to front in my opinion, Page 31 should be page 30, and 30 be 31. 1942 Steiner Page 31.  1948 Steiner Page 30.  |

Newspaper Wrapper 16th August 1941 Privately printed item from the Argentine Sports Confederation. Buenos Aires to Los Angeles Discounted printed matter 1c. with "M.J.I." Departmental Official Sc#OD229 Cancelled with Roller canceller "Plantad Arboles" = Plant Trees! Addressed to Mr. Ned Cronin, Sports Editor "Los Angeles Daily News " Portrait of Mr. Ned Cronin Sports editor. http://lit250v.library.ucla.edu/isl...ilyNews:2325 br / Mr. Cronin, or his secretary, preserved the wrapper in its entirety, and it has survived and travelled on to Western Australia 75 years later. Violet rubber stamp of signature (with flourish)...unknown.   |
