Not CTOs. These are the Hand-overprint issues from the Soviet Occupation Zone of Germany. When the Western allies reformed the Deutsch Mark in their zones and effectively demonitized the common occupation issues, the Soviet occupation authorities ordered post offices in their zone to use their office handstamps to overprint all of their existing stocks of stamps. Only stamps with the overprint were valid so as to keep stocks of unoverprinted stamps from being brought in from the west and used in the east. These overprints have been extensively forged.
These are issues from the Soviet Zone of Occupation in 1948.
In June 1948, following a disagreement over currency reform, the Soviets were left with occupation postage with currency values that were no longer applicable in the Soviet Zone. To remedy this, they ordered the stamps to be overprinted with the district number and location, then sold at the Soviet currency value instead of the face value.
Yours match a couple of these. I can't speak to genuineness as these are not within my area of expertise. Value is minimal (< €1 each), and the Jena 1 issues are widely forged.
Great information! I had an old Michel catalog that I lost years ago, looks like I need to get another. If anyone would like to see more of these I can post them, just ask.
