My thankfulness for any initiave to help.
I am really confused sending a few stamps and covers to the Experts - what if I am wrong about my findings? What will happen if I pretend that I do not understand what I found? Is it better just to make a request for a certification that it is a forgery of the rare stamp?

They are asking 5.5% from catalogue value. Does it worth paying the fee right away? How do the experts react if you pretend that you are thinking about much cheaper stamp, but the stamp by itself looks exactly like the rarity?
What do you do in the situation like this?
Please kindly advise.
Thank you.

Are you interested in certification in order to sell these stamps/covers?

I don't know. Some I may keep for myself and a few - I may sell. I thought that auctions have their own experts and can certify by themselves, but one of a few that I contacted suggested that many forgeries were seen of these, and it would be better, if I get a Philatelic Foundation Certificates first. Why did you ask?

Auction houses can offer you an opinion, but not a certificate.

If it turns out to be a fake it will only cost the basic fee, $27.
