Sorry I've been trying to post this all morning but page keeps going blank, apologies if it gets posted twice!

Does anyone have any information on this album for The Romance Of The Three Kingdoms series of stamps? It is hardback in a slipcase, it includes no stamps but spaces for the stamps to be inserted, it is issued by Post and Telecommunications Bureau of Yanshi.

Hi, thanks for replies, the links you have given are relating to the stamps not this album. The album has spaces for all 5 series of stamps, it is illustrated with drawings and tells the story both in Chinese and English. It is issued by Post & Telecommunications Bureau of Yanshi. It has a number 9 stamped in red on inside cover. I've been on the Post/Tel web site but can't find any information on there and haven't seen it for sale or mentioned anywhere.

It's been 5 months since you first posted this, I'd guess the other 8 owners of this album have not read this thread. Perhaps they all speak and read Chinese only. That is a very limited edition.

It's probably a presentation album/book given to dignitaries, typically a gift given at the first day ceremonies. A lot of countries do this. The US postal service gives away a souvenir program cancelled with the new stamp for first day ceremonies, an event open to the public.

The stamps were probably included. We can only guess that the stamps were given away, sold, or lost in the back seat of somebody's limo.

I don't know if this has value. Since it is China, it might. This otherwise falls into the category of "being rare, but so are the collectors".
