I give up!

I bought this postcard for the machine cancel, and I normally try to translate all my postcards before I mount them. This one... nope. I swear it's some bizarre cross of German and Morse!

Hi! Well the lower case letters are quiet small to say the least. There is a good web site on Sutterlin script > suetterlinschrift.de translation is possible but some work involved...

Reminiscent of a postcard I had written in Hebrew script but Yiddish language.

Good Luck, Postmaster.
A similar code type, and solved.

I don't think it's code. It appears to be normal German, it's just that the author wrote really small, and as the ink bled into the fibers, the letters became blobs.

Well it's no code at all, but extremely hard to read - even for me.
The first words are "und herzlichen Dank für ..." (and heartfelt thanks for ...).

Somehow most links between the letters and many lines inside are missing.
Never seen something like that before.

I'll have a longer try tomorrow.
