The edges are so uneven, it probably was trimmed with scissors.

timbres667 - These classics were never issued in coils or booklets etc. They were printed in sheets with wide selvage:

As far as I know, the selvage was more or less equal at all sides. Make your own conclusion

Apart from the obvious poor condition in itself - your stamp has a marvelous SOTN postmark 'Flekkefjord' July 5th, 1865 - which in my opinion makes the stamp quite presentable nevertheless

Thank you both
These stamps never made it in my Norway stamp album. I sold the collection and these stamps are part of my duplicates I kept. Thanks for your opinions. I thought of maybe try to sell these stamps here but now I think I will keep them. The trimmed one has a nice cancel but still it is in poor condition. On the other one the ownership mark looks ugly on the back of the stamp (previous post). Daniel

can only be a trim, eventhough it has a nice postmark, the quality would make most postmark collectors keep looking, in my oppinion this should be in the trashbin.

I agree on the trashbin - but I would keep it until a better SOTN 'Flekkefjord' of this cancel type comes around.....which is not to often!
