Hi guys..Guess they didnt care about straight perforations in the 1800's..haha

Or they had very bad perforation wheels...Anyone got any worst then this FB40 stamp..?

Bent perf pins were very common. I am more suspicious when the holes are straight!

Early American Perforating Machines and Perforations, by Winthrop S. Boggs is still an excellent reference. Originally published in 1954, it was reprinted by Unitrade in 1982. While it concentrates on U.S., the same information applies to early Canadian stamps.
