First Head (Machine) 1933 to 1935
In 1933 the Victorian Government decided to perforate current stamps to alleviate the theft from their departments.

The Machine was created to accommodate a full sheet of KGV stamps. (2 panes 6 x 10 = 120

The perforating head was a solid row of 12 different VG perfin patterns with a 22mm gap between dies 6 and 7 to allow for the gutter margin.
Up to 12 sheets where perforated at once, and due to the small thin nature of the pins this method caused irreparable damage.

With this Heads short lifespan only 6 known stamp issues can be found with this perfin type and only in position A.
