Hi guys..Was wondering if Cuba always put the year on their stamps in the 1800's..If so, when did they stop..?

Cuba did this on many (but not all) stamps before 1900 while they were a Spanish possession. They stopped doing it regularly once Cuba came under US control and then gained its independence.
