King Alexander I, King of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (1921-1929), King of Yugoslavia (1929-1934).

Alexander I was the son of Peter I, last King of Serbia; maternal grandson of Nicholas I, lsat King of Montenegro.

Alexander's assassination in Marseille, France on October 9, 1934, was the first Royal assassination to be caught on motion camera.

The irony is that Alexander would never make public appearances on Tuesday due to the fact that several of his ancestors were killed on Tuesdays. He was unable to avoid this particular Tuesday. (and the legacy continued)
