Is there a reasonably priced catalogue of NZ plate Blocks? My present indicator of PB values comes from a New Zealand dealer's web site,

In my understanding a "plate block" is four corner stamps with inscription.

Strictly speaking, yes, you are correct. The Australian Commonwealth Specialist Catalogue back in the mid-1990s suggestedthat, for older material, 2 stamps is sufficient from the point of view of philatelical history.

But the again, 4 is just an arbitrary number. Some later NZ material has an imprint and plate numbers which, together, can be up to 5 stamps wide.
