1986 Federated States Of Micronesia Official Proof

So I am going through a bunch of world stuff that I got from I don't remember where and I come across a small postcard type that is from the FSM Postal Service and is marked OFFICIAL PROOF of the 1986 AMERIPEX $1.00 Souvenir Sheet. (sorry no picture yet). The outlined stamp is Hayes holding Chief to ransom for 5000 coconuts and a young girl. Proof is black and white. Any idea how I catalog this (through Scott or Gibbons or?) or a value of such a creature? - Will try to get a picture on for tomorrow. Thanks as always-----

Jeff, modern proofs are relatively common, largely because there are so many stamps produced. The demand for these is as sets, often with special features such as official presentation packs or signature by artist. Singles don't tend to command good prices. To be quite honest, I'd only price it by looking at markets such as ebay and taking a median value.

As for catalogues, I've never come across one in 35 years that covers modern proofs, but I am sure they must exist.
