Hello and thank you all.
Joy: Did I understand you correctly that you could imagine that my shown stamp is a SG O22 type O1a (Wyon) ?
Would this be a nice or rare stamp to keep in the album?

Yes, the Haydarabad stamp is 1909 ½A official stamp (SG O22) with SG type O1a Sarkari ovpt.

The stamp was safely assumed printed from Wyon plate because the same ½A SG vignette type 6 Bradbury plate stamp with large SG type O1a ovpt. (SG O28e) exists only in mint condition and is quite expensive.

Unfortunately Haydarabad 1909 ½A SG O22 in used condition is a very common stamp (SG valuation 10p in SG India 2013 4th Ed.) which was extensively used to pay the basic letter postage as described above.

PS: new entry for my Philatelic lexicon...cordate.

As a corollary to "cordate", here is another description with regards to the Haydarabad stamp. It has "moniliform" inner frameline.

Hello Joy and thank you again. Yes, I checked the detail and it's indeed Wyon. Still I like it :), as it was placed in a family album for 100 years now.

And to add to the "Scrabble", there are sinistral and dextral arcuate value panels.
