Hello everyone. My first time on here. I recently just inherited stamps that my grandmother had. I don't know what the value is on them. She also had 2 George Washington 250th anniversary commemorative cover collections. With a mint struck silver piece inside. I will take photos as much as I can and show them to you. Thank you in advance to those of you who take your time to read this.

The stamps themselves are considered common meaning they do not have much value over the face.

Are these pics of blocks of stamps (not full sheets)?

I suspect the mods will move this to a more appropriate section since it is under World Classic Stamps. This is US material and not classic (sorry).

Angie's, thanks for your response. These are parts of the full sheet.

I would add that most of the stamps after 1950 are considered common especially the commemoratives. There are definitely stamps worth something. An individual collector will pay more than a dealer.

The 8 cent Christmas (Scott 1471 issued in 1972) looks like a partial since the perforations are on the side. Sheets have straight edges on all four sides.

Lelah,

They say these stamps have little value (they do), but they are engraved stamps and far nicer and better than today's editions.
