I will never forget when my dad proudly sat me on his lap after I had been collecting for a few years and shared with me this graf zeppelin cover sent to his father the year he was born.
I don't think he really ever told anybody else that he had this, so among anything in his collection that I inherited, this is by far the most special. My heart skipped a beat or two when I came across this page in his American Heirloom collection as I was replacing his cruddy plastic 3 ring binders (that were coated with ben gay residue) with the nice leather binders/dustcovers.

The bottom one is the best one and maybe worth a fair bit now with 3 x C18 Zep stamps on it I have seen these with the C18 multiple stamps going above $200. Hang on to the collection you have inherited. You could maybe start your own collection to.

Hi,

Very nice indeed, # 241.E under Sieger-Verlag 22nd edition: 300 Euro value. 1.50$ is good for that Chicago trip.

Best regards

Hornet

I'm sure that re-discovery brought back many fond memories.
