I'm looking for a lighted magnifier suitable for stamp collecting. Really looking for something I can set on my desk and look through (hands-free) with multiple magnification levels.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Dave

How about head band style such as jewellers use? This one's cheap or you can get more advanced/fancy.

Or there are a number of table lamp options in online stores such as Sears or Amazon. In Sears or Amazon if you type lighted magnifying glass in the search you'll get a number of possible options.

I just use a handheld cheap one.

Look up Leuchtturm. I've owned several - this is the best. I did a google and this popped up. Don't know the company so can't recommend.

A flatbed scanner is better than any magnifying glass as it does not distort an image around the edges and allows a larger field of view. I use a small hand held magnifier on the road and all my lighted magnifiers do is clutter by office desk drawers.

I just use a hand held magnifier. It has LED's surrounding the glass. Found it on the Linn's website.

The multiple levels of magnification narrows the list.

Thanks all.....I'd be happy with a single magnification, as long as it was on the order of 5-8-10x or so.....
