Perfin M solved..........Erk!
Perfin M = Associated Machine Tools.
Apologies for the "in your face" treatment.
These were early days for me with regards to scanning and ID.

I have toned it down 500% since.

Ooops !
I failed to Identify the puncture count ! Yours is 7-4-4-7

So your "M" Perfin is Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (SYDNEY Pmk)
I would suggest rather scarce, only used for 1 year.

N.S.W. Government & inverted/reversed.

For any new students to PERFINS
this occurs when stamp sheets, or part thereof, are "folded" prior to puncturing,
resulting in inverted and reversed puncture formats on the face.

Wow Rod222, lots of information, I appreciate that, so many varieties of the "M". I will have to look at the other "M" perfin I have and see if it's the same (be a bit of a surprise if I have two given one year of usage). I also know I have a zip-lock bag somewhere that has only perfins in it so will have to locate that as well.

Sorry if nothing special by comparison to previous posts and images but since I have so many I thought I would show just a couple for interest perhaps.

am asssuming no real value - gave away over 100 earlier ones to a very good friend recently. Must learn more after reading earlier posts.

Have a great weekend Michael
