Hi bookbndrbob, I still have the ones I purchased, mostly plate blocks. Funny to think back then we had 1/2 cent stamps, and one hundred years before that we have 1/2 cent pieces. Do you remember back then some place someone would say "its 2 bits", I don't hear that any more. When I say 2 bits, or 4 bits etc., no one seems to understand what I mean anymore.

Wow stampmaster that 2 bit 4 bit I haven't heard since I played elementary basketball in Waco. The cheerleaders had a cheer that had that in it. I think it was 1 bit 2 bit 4 bits a dollar all for Waco stand up and hollar. Many many moons ago. Those were the innocent times.

At my high school, it was "two bits, four bits, six bits, a dollar...all for ------ stand up and holler." After which, things got loud.
