Pages For Canada Precancels

Are there any pages (printed or pdf) available for Canada precancels? Or is that strictly a DIY endeavor?

There are printed pages, but produced years ago and now out of print. You might find an unused set or nearly unused, if you try hard. I made my own for an important reason. Early on I decided that there are just too many multiple impressions that I would never be able to find and afford. I laid out my own pages with only 'normal and invert' included. I am VERY happy with this decision over the years.

What you will be left with on the pre-printed album is towns with MANY blank spaces as well as stamp paces tightly packed.

Here is a link that deals with which town issued numerical and place name precancels. Can't verify the total shown but it does look small.

I have ordered a copy of "7th Edition - The Standard Canada Precancel Catalogue (2015)". Between it and my copy of AlbumGen I ought to be able to make my own pages.

good idea,,There will be a lot more precancels than you think...i have a small queen cancel that is not even in this book...Also lots of precancel varieties...have fun...lots of work ahead of you.

Canada precancel counts cities=59, varieties about 3500 all denominations
[although a few of the cities have been renamed]

compare with 21340/42351 in the US for towns and types and about 2 million for all denominations

A complete Canada collection will fit in one volume - not US!
