The Four Imams

The names of the imams form a circle, they are often referred to as the Four Imams of Fiqh, and are regarded as key figures in the early formation of Islamic law and ideals.
Starting from top left, clockwise:
Imam Abu Hanifa (born in Kufa, Iraq; date of birth 80 Hegira, 669 Common Era)
Imam Maalik Ibn Anas (born Madina, now Saudi Arabia; 93H, 711CE)
Imam Shafi'ee (born Gaza, Palestine;150H, 767CE)
Imam Ahmad Ibn Muhammed Hanbal (born Baghdad, Iraq; 164H, 778CE)
