I found these in my collection. I really like these because I'm a nurse. These are the only ones I have from 1987. Does anyone else have any they could post photos of?

Thanks!
Gussyboy1

Hi Gussyboy1,
This is Scott #1190, issued to honor the profession of Nursing, issued in 1961. It was probably used on a mailing from a stamp dealer or collector 26 years later in 1987.

Great stamp bobgggg! What does something like that value in the Scotts Catalogue? In other words---is it up for trade?

There are quite a few stamps from around the world honoring Florence Nightingale.
Here are three from Great Britain, Belgium and Hungary.

There are several more Nightingale stamps identified in this article by Stanford Shulman, MD.
Unfortunately I don't have any to trade. They would make for a great topical collection.

Gussyboy1,

This is yours when I reach the 50/14 level because of Nurse's Week May6-12. Not sure if it is necessary if its free to you, but don't want to take chance :)

Since we all know how good at multi-tasking nurses have to be, this stamp is doing double duty here and in the Red Cross thread.

[b]Gussyboy1[\b]: Canada Post just issued a stamp honouring the 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Nurses Association. Do you want one?
