Rethinking My Ww Collection

Since last year I insert Vario betwen the pages of my Scott Int. as show in this tread

It's more and more clear that I want now to collect series of stamps, instead of countries. I have few series I like from many countries, but more than 90% of the Scott Albums don't interest me. Beside I like engraved Cinderella

So the dilemma for now is; did I continue like I do and have to lift a different Scott album everytime I want too look to a series in another volume, or did I simply place the vario in 3 rings binders. by experience I don't like more than 30 Vario in a binder,more than 30 it's become hard to turn, so it's means a lot of 1/2" or 12 binders

I need to go Vario, I'm sick and tire , to redo pages scrap mount everytime I want change something.

A method I use may be suitable for your needs also. I only collect 3 countries so the method works very well for me. I use this method as I use blank quadrille pages only and have to store stamps until a full set, no more varieties, or a full page.

Instead of Vario pages I use Hawid 3 row approval cards similar to:

You don't need the storage boxes shown. The cards fit comfortably in a 4" x 6" card file similar to: http://www.staples.com/index+c...ile+box

The protective flap is important if storing stamps without a mount.

For my Beer stamps I use 4 x 6 dealer approval cards and a sleeve stored in an Advantus plastic card file box. I find they are better quality than the Staples plastic boxes.

I can't use 4 x 6 card, it's too small for my need, just as example a year set of Austrian Revenue take 2 Vario sides

But a stamp room with wood cabinets to store the 4 x 6 will be very nice

You could use more than one card. I do. In a 6" long box I have 200 of the three row cards and still have room to thumb through them.
