Hi, thanks for your time. I am trying to help my father, he doesn't speak english. He asked me if I could find out where could he buy US stamps. He doesn't trust his current supplier anymore. He has found that the pages/templates he buys from the supplier don't match with the stamps the same supplier provides. For instance:
- The template has too many or too little available slots for the stamps he gets,
- The template shows the correct slots and labeling but the order of the stamps "set" and the template is different... (see image below)

So he asked me if I could find out about one serious-trustworthy US supplier of both pages/templates and stamps that sells all there is, not some, not a custom selection, but ALL the official stamps of a given year/month/period. He has helped me with so many things in my life I would really like to be able to help him with this. Wise gentlemen, can somebody recommend me some suppliers? Thanks a lot.
Kind regards,
Toni Mass

Hi, welcome to the forum . the 12 stamps is actually a 10 stamp set, the album is correct, you have 2 duplicate on the 12 set ( double ) they come from a sheet, just remove the last row at right or at left ( may be someone know if it's better one than the other )

The 5 stamps set it the same problem, you need a part of the sheet that have then in the good order.

I hope it's clear, my Spanish is worst than my English....

Hi, Toni --

The USPS sells directly to buyers at face value plus shipping.

I don't believe that international buyers can purchase off of the regular USPS website:

https://store.usps.com/store/browse...d=buy-stamps

but one could always find out what's been issued that way, especially beginning at this page:

http://about.usps.com/news/welcome.htm

However, the USPS also has a webstore on ebay, and international buyers *can* purchase from there. I just checked, and the shipping to Spain is $6.25, but, at least according to the items I checked, the shipping charge for additional items is $0.00, so you could purchase several items there and just pay the one shipping charge. (There are a few countries excluded, but Spain is not one of them.)

Here's that link:

http://stores.ebay.com/US-Postal-Service-Store

Perhaps that could be a good alternative for your father.

As area was trying to say, the lighthouse stamps were printed in a sheet f 20 with the same 5 designs printed 4 different times - but each strip of 5 is in a different order - if you want the one that matches the order in the album it is the one in the top row, but in the case of this particular issue, there was a design error in the top row where the 37 on the second stamp was entered too low so the top strip commands a premium price (the top strip catalogs $9.50 while any of the other 3 strips are only $5.50)

The bottom example is a double sided booklet pane of 20 (although I can't tell if yours has the other 8 stamps on the back side). There are 10 different designs that appear twice on the booklet. The album page provides spaces for each of the 10 designs rather than the full booklet pane.

Oh fantastic! I didn't expect responses so soon. Thanks Area66 and Eyeonwall, I understand the issue now. Easy solution for both cases.

Since my father has also complaint about missing stamps and so on... whether he is right or not, I might just as well go for a new US seller anyway. I will check out Philatarium suggestion, thanks a lot for looking thins up for me.

If somebody would like to recommend me other sellers (ideally of stamps and albums) please feel free to drop some more names.

I'll come back if there is another confusing case. Very kind of you gentlemen, good luck everyone with your endeavors.

I think that Nordfrim (in Denmark) sells US year sets, as well as Lighthouse pages for US stamps (the latter are high quality, but aren't cheap).
