Hard to judge the seller that you show the name, if you don't provide a link so we can see what he said about it in the description.

Or, just search ebay for the title as shown in the image:

A copy without the "tear at right" looks like this:

I thought it might be a rare, unlisted, untied, previously unknown 35 cent provisional issue, seeing as how about 33% of the stamp is missing.

Ha ha

Small tear... I get it, the stamp is a speedy one if perfect but this isn't a very small tear..

Strange I couldn't sell anything with this title and not show more pictures, all of this seller's items have 1 picture and no other descriptions... ebay is definitely not for the faint of heart or the unknowing with a fist full of money..

Hi Willie,

Yes, this topic was presented with a great deal of "tongue-in-cheek," or even just sarcasm.

Somebody thought a third of the stamp missing was just a "tear to right side."

The one that you show could be described as "portions of the design replaced with empty space," or something as equally silly as the existing "small tear @ top and bottom."

Morning Jim,
That was my thought when sharing this one, but my ebay thoughts/fears should have been saved for an angry ebay thread. I don't sell stamps on ebay but it seems everyone seems to think they have that golden item and it is definitely a buyer be ware. I'm very thankful early on in my collecting age I sought out this extremely knowledgeable group!
