I purchased a stamp collection at an Estate Sale for $10.00. I know the collector spent a lot of time and effort and I want to be sure that this collection is treated with the respect it deserves. I know absolutely nothing about Stamp collecting and I don't know what I am going to do with this collection. The pages shown are not the entire collection and I have included a close up of one of the first stamps in the collection. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome Lalair!

Mostly the stamps you selected for display are common and worth a few pennies at most. However, you have a couple that probably made your $10 investment worthwhile.

The Plate Numbered stamp on image 7 might be worth something. I didn't look it up. =(

Also the bottom stamp with the grill might be worth something. Again, I didn't look it up.

Image 7 has the key to your profit or loss...

The Kans. and Nebr. overprints might be worth roughly $3 to $ 5 each if they are not fakes. Between those and the stock sheets holding the stamps, I'd say you got your $10 worth. What to do with them? Just with what you scanned, you have the foundations of a worldwide collection. Enjoy.
