Postmarks Study : Maltese Cross
Colleague's items, not mine.
London Number in Maltese Cross
Number 11
Note: Small Triangular marks inside the the four sides of the middle Cross.
seen on numbers 1,2,4,5,6,10,11,and 12.
Issue Date 1st April 1843
Numbers: Possibly monitoring the work of Clerks, or, perhaps indicating differing departments.
Numbers 3 and 11 are fairly scarce, Number 4 is the scarcest.
Query : these two items still have fragments of covers adhering, is it wise to soak off ?
or, leave well enough alone? (Both, blued paper)
PLATING : neophyte for plating, any suggestions welcomed. Alphabet types ?
Thank you.

Maltese Cross : Skimpy info, best guess (due to the left leaning upper middle cross) Perth or Stirling, Scotland.
The "J" looks like it has issues.
