Some of you will know what I mean. You see something on ebay or some site an take mental note of it then months later you try to find it again and cannot.

Does anyone recall seeing listings for German made albums and pages for the China area, both standard and hingeless from a company named something like 'Stampko'? I think they also had albums for Poland. I wonder if they went out of business or what. Probably I have the name wrong. Before posting here I Googled, checked past listings on ebay, nothing. Probably I have the name wrong.

Anyway if anyone knows what I may have seen can you enlighten me? Many thanks.

Thanks but am familiar with them and this wasn't. They had pages on either European sized or American Letter sized sheets. Offered a good range of pages for China and I think Poland up to the 60's. It was a company based in Germany.

Found it -- Stampiko.

And it appears they're only available from one seller (fil-lak) on ebay. No current listings, but it looks like they had several auctions end a couple days ago. I'd recommend either contacting the seller or waiting a couple days to see if they re-list.

OMG, Thanks!

Well I was close wasn't I? Incredible all that searching didn't result in one match even without that extra 'i'.

Yes, I do remember them. Their pages are very nicely designed, a bit more elegant looking the the normal page which is why they caught my eye on ebay. The company is in Germany, I believe (not sure), and you may be right that "Stampko" is its name. You might look at ebay's German website, but they were on the U.S. ebay when I discovered them.

I once contacted the seller to inquire about his albums, maybe a Poland album (again I can't quite recall). My reason was that this company publishes pages for only certain years, typically earlier classic stamps covering a few decades only, and I wanted to see if they planned to publish pages for an entire country up to the present. It does not do that, as I found out, so that pretty much ended my interest.
