Does ebay have periods when if really slows down, or is there something wrong with my computer?Sometimes when I type in a bid. or a Scott number, it takes a few seconds, maybe longer, for the numbers to show up on my screen. What's up?

Same here in the UK Don, at least for me.
Have noticed a real drop in performance of ebay lately.

Suggest sending feedback to ebay to stop including extraneous ads on search pages. Waiting for ads may significantly delay rendering the page in your browser.

ebay [probably] makes more on selling ads than they do with commissions. Don't expect a few complaints about how they have made our shopping experience awful to make a difference.

To load the ebay adds is a painful wait.

Took me 35 mins yesterday to mark 9 separate items as sent.

The communication tower is 1km or 1 mile away as the crow fly's and has no obstruction on the way here + we also have an analog hook up as well.

We are talking about all the mobile phones on the internet system has overloaded the it big time.Really have no idea.

You may know this.
John, try sending 1 feedback,
then "where do you want to go now"...select "more feedback"
Then all your sales will appear in a list, you can write feedback for the rest and send in 1 click.

I've noticed the same thing. This may depend on what browser you are using. In any case, FWIW I've found that using the Task Manager to shut down Adobe Flash Player seems to help.

I'm pretty sure it's a matter of server overload. There are times when there are more visitors than usual, the servers get crowded and it gets slower.
