Scott lists the 1981 Maurelle's Map souvenir sheet as Scott 443 with any single as 443a. They do not list a picture for it.

This is the Stampworld image and shows 4 unique images.

If four unique images, I wonder why Scott does not list each separately. I do not have a SG to check.

What is correct?

You might send the Scott catalog people a scan with the explanation. They are not all-seeing or all-knowing.

Opinion:
Maurelle's visit, production of chart of Bauche.

I think the clue is in "any single as 443a" meaning any one of the 4 attract the same value.
SG (1993) lists the 4 singles by value, but the CV alters little.

SG MS438
singles SG 434-437

Hope that helps.

They pull some strange stunts sometimes. So now there are four different stamps with the same catalog number.

Thanks. For now, I will call this as ab,c,d. I have been using the Stampworld data as my input for my inventory file by extracting from web page and now mapping to Scott. Stampworld shows 4 but needed to map to Scott. SG mapping will come later.

Al, I think your abcd listing should be the proper way.

Otherwise that is a nice sheet. One of the islands in the top left stamp, La Solitaire, is the Tuvalu island of Niulakita.

Niulakita is known for the wreck of the Norwegian ship the Seladon.

I think I will have to get this sheet.
