Old Stamp Collection Book

I actually didn't inherent this book but from my recollection me or my husband picked it up at an estate/garage sale many years ago.

I have been into coin collecting both variety and error coins for about 1 1/2 years now - which I totally love. Just recently found this stamp book in an old box of stuff that we had in storage and figured I would give it a shot.

The book is laid out by countries, so I have Italy, Argentina etc. I didn't know where to start or which sub-forum to be in. The stamps go from the 1800's to the early 1900's. Some are canceled but others are not used except to be stuck to the book pages.

Any help is very much appreciated.

I know nothing about stamps, so anything special that I need to be looking for?

Not really, People collect stamps for various reasons, but I would guess mainly for the inherent enjoyment it can offer, being that collecting valuable stamps, stamps of a country specific, stamps of a Thematic (eg: Teapots on stamps)

It is the ultimate democracy, collect what you like, how you like, whichever way you like, bearing in mind, you will become a guardian of a limited resource, take care of them as best as possible.

The majority of stamps have little value, but immense enjoyment potential.
Value always improves with condition.
