Mine is 2014, and I can't find this stamp anywhere. I was hoping it was identified in a late version.

And, of course, you would notice something that I completely missed. That egg is also of interest, of course.

Is this listed in ACSC? Thanks again.

It is in my 2001 edition.

1R21 (Electro 1, right pane, position 21).

Much thanks 64idgaf. It is very easy to overlook those varieties sometimes. It is right there in my ACSC, 95(1)i. The egg is not shown in the illustration. Just a bonus, I guess I don't have to purchase the 2018 version just yet.

Partime,
I would drop that scan over to Brusden White...they may be interested, and perhaps be included in a later edition.

I had foggy memory of "egg under emu" and went googling...............

BW 67(9) k 9R14
apparently CV $60

This is sort of an oddity. The early Australian are filled with examples of Compartment Lines that sometimes fool people into thinking Re-Entry or otherwise. This is Scott 68 (ACSC 92), which has an obvious line on the right side, but it is slightly broken at the bottom. I don't see it in the ACSC catalog, which makes me think it is just a normal version, but I thought I would post it for comments, if any.

Any help would be appreciated. I can't quite place the postmark. It looks like it begins with BI and ends with EMDEN, but I can't find anything in the Queensland Steel Datestamps book. Thanks.

Thanks Rod. One of those N's looked like an M to me. I'll think I'll pass on the post office offer for now.

I have a few of the 1936 Opening of Tasmanian Submarine Cable, Scott 157, ACSC 169. A typical example is shown below:

One example has this blob on the left side. Very prominent, but probably just a one-off:

The "normal" version of this stamp appears to have a hook or mark in this area. I have found several, though, with nothing at all in that same area. Perhaps there was a slight difference between Sheets A, B, C or D?

Edit: I just found out that Type A has no line, while Type B has the line. I'll leave them in here for future reference.

Finally, the original picture above appears to have a very slight re-entry along the outer frame on left side, that I cannot find listed in ACSC. What do you think? Pictures below of the middle and bottom of the left side to show this very subtle line. Thanks for looking.

The 1936 Centenary of South Australia, Proclamation Tree issue, Scott 160, ACSC 172, also has a small fault. Here the 3d version is shown with a thread or other disturbance on the right side. Not listed, but probably a one-off.
