Hi Lawrence, nice stamp. Suggestion: to identify each KG5, it is always advisable to indicate your Watermark and Perforation guage, to assist us. Cheers.
....and, to be really cool, a scan of the back, this fella exists in translucent paper.

I don't see anything unusual, and nothing in the ACSC. I also can't see the re-entry that you mentioned. Of more interest may be the marks in the bottom border area. Better scans in the areas of interest would help. |

Sorry Partime, that's the best my scanner can do! They may be just print or ink errors rather than plate flaws I imagine! Thanks for your help and prompt reply Cheers |

You have described an ACSC 81. I still don't see anything to indicate that it is anything but a normal type. Let's see some other items. |

Hi Lawrence, nice scan. I disagree with Partime, I have it as ACSC #82 (Type 6)
Comes as Green CV $5 2007 Deep Green Pale Green Dark Sage-Green
Watermark Inverted $75 Watermark reversed $4,500 Both these have been reversed as no examples seen by modern day collectors
I also see nothing that corresponds with the Catalogue
My experience with KG5 Lots of marks seen, after flyspecking for hours, none of which are mentionable, unless they correspond with the catalogue (ie : constants) That does not mean the marks are EFO's, the catalogue comes out every 4 years or so, each version lists more, as they come to hand.
It is a work in progress.
Happy to stand corrected, if I have mis-read the catalogue.

Quote: I have it as ACSC #82 (Type 6) Yes, agree. Prices in 2014 match the 2007 prices. |

Quote: It actually looks like the plate broke as this one was getting printed ? Opinion: ACSC #107c pale blue Die 1a I cannot see anything with a catalogue ref. There is a chunk out of the "R" in "three", and a spur in the shield of the LH 3. |
