I'm going to plug my website again http://acsvid.com

1200dpi scans of varieties from 1913 onwards, all identified. There's around 240 images so far, and it's a constant work in progress

From my first cursory "bo-peep"
looks like a fabulous piece of work.
Well done you, Jubilee.

Partime, thanks for the explanation , I'll need an EFO album!

Jubilee, excellent site, for us that cannot afford the ACSC!

It is not 4R4. Had you bothered to check you would have noted that 4R4 is a top row stamp but Lawrence's copy does not show a top marginal watermark line which would show on a watermark displaced so low. Also if you had checked the image in ACSC properly you would note that 4R4 has a noticeable thinning of the top margin above L which is not present in Lawrence's stamp.

Regards
Frank

ACSC seems to have changed something. My 2013 lists 21(4)e as location 4R6 and the listing is specifically written as "Break in top frame over L of Australia". I don't think that is is at all. The closest I see is 21(4)g, but that isn't very close either. Sorry, I still see it as a EFO.

No need to apologise Partime, It's all in the spirit of enquiry.
It seems you are correct,
It was circumstantial evidence, but looked good to me at the time.

Regarding the Catalogue, you may be distressed to know (apparently)
when the editors shuffle in a new occurence, it can shift the other catalogue numbers down. Thereby making older catalogues out with certain references.
