Philatarium, I have missed your message while I have used to write the entire message again..

I just have checked my e-mail, and there is no any note from the SCF (with your message)... so, I still didn't get it.

You can write me directly on filipbasic1 on G- mail... that will come sooner.

@ hy-brasil - this extra piece was sold on ebay for only $59... (I didn't buy it - this is not my photo)...

Nice to see this. Yes, same cancel design, same date (along bottom of cancel) so FDC; these are cancelled Tokyo (characters in center of envelope in cancel).

LR card is for (free) soldiers mail; there are many different designs, as you may have found. Please show us more cancels!

The Postcard that sold for $59
the 3 sen and the 10 sen, engraved, show the building of the department of communications, at the time, with the bronze statue of baron Mitu Maezima, in the foreground.

This building was destroyed by fire, in the great earthquake of 1923.

Those 4 stamps conclude the 50th anniv of the Postal Service.

btw. do these postcards have any market value? Not sure to keep them, or to trade them with my friend who is collecting Far East... they are not my area of interest, but they are surely nice to be seen...

btw. the last set below are "Mihon" specimens... 3 of Japan, one of Ryukyu Island, I think... that one also have some error... also got them from the source...
