Just getting back to the hobby after 21 years.

I have a Schaubek Hingeless Scott National album that was up-to-date through 1996.

This month, I bought individual supplements from Amos for 97, 98, 99, and 00. Like regular National supplements, each supplement came with update notes and replacement pages.

For 2001-2004, I bought the aggregate "Part V". Problem with Part V is that it doesn't come with any supplement notes or replacement pages. How do I know I'm not missing anything from what would've been the individual annual supplements? Is there an archive of the supplement notes anywhere?

Suppose I figure out that I'm missing something from a supplement.
Is it even possible to get individual pages from Schaubek/Scott?

Did you contact the supplier that you got the supplements from? Perhaps they would have more information about the missing replacement pages and or notes for the Part V aggregate.

I'm surprised this hasn't ever come up before.

Part V comes in a single box, and there isn't a single replacement page for pre-2001. I find that incredibly hard to believe! The 1998 supplement alone updated three pages in 1845, 1935, and 1947. And the 2014 supplement updated another three pages of grills in 1870. Am I supposed to presume that Scott didn't make any changes during 2001-2004?

Here's a simple way to find out... can anyone look at their 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 supplement notes and tell me if Scott updated the album at all?

I got through to someone at Amos and I'll see how far I can get with this.

If there are version numbers printed on the replacement pages, you might yet be in luck. The problem is twofold ... identifying needed replacement pages and then locating same. In any event, let us know how you fare with Amos.

If the changes were driven by new catalogue numbers in prior years, you could look at the annual catalogue change summary in the preface of each year Scott specialized to see if there is anything you may interested in to collect.

I use the Scott National pages and there are times where nothing changes, so there are no updated pages. It's possible that the period you are looking at didn't change any previous catalog numbers, hence no need to update earlier pages.

If you are concerned you don't have pages for all listed items, look at a Scott Specialized and compare the pages with the catalog numbers for those years.
