Would you have an idea of what year this would have been put into production? |

Quote: Would you have an idea of what year this would have been put into production? Just as a rough guess, the 1930s, maybe even the 1940s, due to the artwork style, the fine lithography screen used, and its size, if it's bigger than a typical US commemorative. The one Randy showed is probably earlier (and smaller). The charity started up in WWI, so there's the earliest possible date range. Somebody come up with a cover to prove me wrong (or right). I dare ya! |

hy-brasil, you state "...the fine lithography screen used...". It is actually printed by photogravure, not lithography. ebay lot 282457230237 is of a similar design, while lot 263061304584 offers a se-tenant strip of three, and lot 331976273984 offers a strip of ten! None suggest a date, although I agree 1930s would make most sense, as Randy has, in fact, proved. GLENN |

From the Great Britain Commemorative labels pre-1950 catalogue by Chris Chatfield (Cinderella Stamp Club 1991): Quote: St. Dunstans. Their sight for us/Our help for them. Fund-raising labels for Inst. for care & rehab. of blind (especially men and women blinded on war service). Sheets of 40 in four strips of 10 with 5 diff. designs (in pairs) of knights in armour. Litho. c. 1916? Roul. in mauve, brown, red, pale blue, or dark blue....[B] where B = Not easy to find £0.60-£1.40 Mike |

I've just registered here to find out about these specific stamps -- thank you Bean and Google Images. I have a couple of strips of all 10, 5 pairs, one incomplete strip of 8, 4 pairs, and a strip of 10 with one having a tear in it. How do I find out the value of these please?

thump, you probably should contact a cinderella dealer for any value. These are not postage stamps and as such would not be listed in any postage stamp catalog. You can find dealers by googling "cinderella stamp dealer".
