Hi, having this problem for some time now. Have sent an email to ebay, but never received an answer or solution to my problem.

My problem is: Every morning and every evening I check ebay Stamps for stamp(s) I might be interested in. Either auction bid, or purchase. Now when searching the U.S. Back of Book, Revenues section, I can only view 25 items per page, instead of the previous 200. This takes me 3 times as long to view both "ending soon" and "newly listed". In addition previously each item would include a time period of either ending time or listed time. Now I have no idea when the "ending soon" is closing, and have to check everyone once in a while.

Does anyone of a solution to these problems, or is it something I just have to live with.

I've tried contacting ebay in the past and never received an answer. I did send an email this time for this problem, again, never received an answer or solution so far.

Thanks in advance

Dave

I noticed the same changes. ebay does this eery so often - I suppose we will just have to live with it. Untill the next time they change their outlay.

At the bottom of the search page it has a drop down box with items per page. Mine set at 50.

What continues to bug me about ebay's stamp listings is their strange insistence on referring to our hobby as 'Postal' stamp collecting. They use that format in all their stamp listing. I have never seen that anyplace else, ever.

I think the postal addition is to prevent confusing with other "stamp" hobbies.

Same thing on my computer. I have also noticed on newly listed items, it no longer tells you when the stamp posted. Very annoying.

Had a very disappointed person show up at one of our local shows, following the "stamp show today" signs, only to find that we were not into rubber stamping.

Not on the pages they are now giving me. They have also taken away my ability to design the display the way I want it - you used to be able to include or exclude as you liked things like shipping cost, seller ID etc. and now you get a one size fits all display that they chose. Worse, last time I tried using the More Refinements (left side) to exclude the overpriced sellers that inhabit the category I wanted to browse, it acted like it was accepting the ID's I entered, but then it continued to include those sellers in the search. A complete waste of my time as I would NEVER buy from these sellers.

That term 'Postal Stamp; is getting traction. I am now seeing it used in a few philatelic articles and also on some discussion boards. I utterly hate it, but I'm just one person, I guess.

In the browser I use, at least, the option of setting the number of items per page is no longer given. Nor is the date of listing, as RevHound said. However, I find that changing the display from List view to Gallery view helps mitigate the time required to plow through sometimes hundreds of pages of search results.

Hi

This morning ebay was still the same, could only search 25 at a time.

This evening ebay reverted back to what it was before, was able to search 200 and the count down and count up clock works with posting date for each.

I guess ebay finally realized.
