Hi all

Here is my latest discovery, found it today in an old box.

272 with two images, one with arrows and one without arrows.

This will find a good place in my stock book of double transfers

Dave

The extreme right arrow is not part of a double transfer, it is an engravers error that is on all examples; per Encyclopedia of Plate Varieties by Loren C. French.
If you ever decide to part with your book of double transfers I would like to know.

Oh yes, now I remember. I forgot about Cloudy's showing me the same example on a latter issue he had from the 1900 regular issues.

Face it I'm an old guy and sometimes forgets.

Sorry, my book of double transfers goes to my daughter, she also collects. Some time ago I got her hooked on U.S. Revenues.

Hey, thanks a lot of the mention of Cloudy and his book, I miss discussions with him.

I collect DT's on both postage and revenues.

I'm so involved with double transfers, sometimes at a stamp show, just turn a page in a dealers stock and I can spot them right away.

Does this happen to you, or maybe I'm a little crazy.
