Schermack To Identify

looks genuine to me

many thaannks and hops identify them as I still have morre then 25 similairs again.

Hi as far as I can see, they mostly look real attractive.

Certainly and especially if you see the old German book from which I pick them.

But anyonne can identify them ?

Which one is A1 type ?

dzpaper, could you please change ( edit ) the heading of this post so we can find it if needed? The name of the perforation is Shermack. The pictures you give are great, so it can be used for reference if you give the correct spelling. Thank you.

dzpaper, I do not know what you mean by type A1. In the Scott Specialized US catalog the stamps you show are all the same type - type III Shermack perforations.

Anyways, as the scan is so good, anyone can help me to identify which from my stamps are : Deep rose, Ty, Ia, imperforate, Schermak III (482A).

If those are 482A's then I am a multi multi millionaire as I have about 300 of them in a stock book here ! weeeeeeeeeeeee

They are Schermack ! Not Schermak or Shermack. They are all common, no type 1a and they are worth abut 10 cents a piece. The bottom 3 are not Schermacks, just plain imperforate stamps. The 2 on the right hand side went through a hand affixing device.

Please also note: most are "2 Cents 2" and one is "Two Cents" varieties. (The last 3 are all imperforate "Two Cents".)

based on your scan there are no type 1A stamps.
