I picked this 99c cover off ebay. It is hard to believe that those "original" self-adhesives are 50 years old!

I am wondering if it is a commercial cover. It is registered to Germany and has 30c total in postage. Any one know the Sierra Leone postal rates of the time?

Also, what is the significance of the ??? Kaufbeuren undated handstamp. Otherwise no other German marks.

hi; It seems the ''Zollamt Kaufbeuren''hand stamp is the ''customs office Kaufbeuren''; in Kaufbeuren.
