I found this in a recent ebay purchase and am wondering if it is an item of any value. Kinda neat looking even if of little dollar value.
Your input is greatly appreciated.

I think it's an interesting cover. If we look at the cat. value per stamp we come too over 41$.Now you have some of the 1946 overprint types plus the
50 drx in strips so not bad for that year!It depends on how much you paid..

Thanks perf12. This was really a great deal. Approximately 1500 stamps in a Scott album for $210. It also had MH singles of all the stamps on the cover.

Could you post some pics of the overprint types mint? Other Greek stamps in the lot?

Sure but will not be back at my scanner until this weekend. The entire lot was Greek but will try to pick a few of the nicer items.

I think that the value of the cover is the value of the used stamps as a percentage of their catalog value. As a cover it has some issues such as no clear Greek postmarks to show when it was mailed so the typical collectors of this sort of cover who seek postal history to determine routes and times in transit would have a difficult time with it, though the American postmarks show when it arrived. Also, as a cover it has some issues such as it being wrinkled, torn and soiled. I do like all of the different stamps and think they look great. It makes me wonder if the either the sender or the recipient was a stamp collector and the use of so many stamps might have been partially philatelic?
