Very Strange Stamp I Found Perf 10 1/2 By 11 1/2 Not In The Scott Book All Three Help Please

why is the stamp on a diagonal? trying to give us a headache?

Do you know anything about the 10 1/2 by 11 1/2 on the perf . And no im not trying to give you a headache. I took the pic with my cell phone and thats how it cam out flipped. It is a perfect match on all the stamps on the perfs.

Went threw 3 books trying to ID the Perfs And its not on stamp smarter either.

While this has been noted elsewhere, it probably bears repeating here. The perf gauges reported in Scott are NOT always exact. Where it is deemed that no confusion can arise, Scott frequently rounds the measurement up or down. Both my Scott catalogue & my stamp album report the 632 thru 642 series as perf 11x10.5. But, as Jogil has pointed out, a more accurate measurement reveals them to be 11.25x10.5.

And I'll just point out, politely (I hope you understand), that assuming the photo is accurate, that is not a good method of measuring, or better yet, demonstrating your measurement of perforations. I use that same perforation gauge for practically all measurements, except when a more precise measurement is needed. In almost all cases when using that gauge you must recognize that you are looking for the closest match within 1/2 tolerance because the gauge does not measure any closer (does not measure to 1/4). Therefore, you temper your expectations knowing you are using a somewhat imprecise gauge and referencing a somewhat imprecise catalog.
