The regular perforation for this stamp is 11 1/4 (K-70) x 11 (K-72) for a rotary press stamps.
However, a very few have been found with 11 (K-72) x 11 (K-72) which is for flat press stamps.
For a rotary press stamp to have flat plate perforations can be indicative of sheet waste.

So we should be on the lookout for this stamp? I will have to add that 11 1/4 and 11 to my Canadian Specialised Gauge. Is it exactly 11, or say 10.93 like some of the other "11" stamps? Also exactly 11.25?

Unitrade/Scott list the basic stamps as perf 11.

For 11 it would be K-72 = 10.94 and for 11 1/4 it would be K-70 = 11.25

Jogil, re: 164

VGG certs are more respected in the philatelic community, are they not?

I have had many certs from the above, overturned by the Greene Foundation. As much as he tries, he makes mistakes.

In other threads on this site it is quite often mentioned to get a "VGG cert". Wouldn't one assume from that that they are respected?

Not really a collector of Canada myself, but these images from a current auction may appeal - part of a set of imperf between:

Okay, dumb question. For the two pictures above why aren't there any perforations between the stamps?
