This is the same seller that was mentioned previously here as offering "if genuine" fake stamps at high prices.

A quality stamp dealer, such as Eric Jackson or Richard Friedberg, simply does not offer fake stamps at all. One or two fake stamps in a dealer's inventory, whether identified as such or not, pollutes the entirety of the inventory.

Sort of like if you meet someone that is a convicted thief, robber, cheat, swindler, and liar, what ELSE have they done that you just don't know about yet?

Another way of looking at this business model of course is that it is, in fact, pretty brilliant: listing otherwise worthless fake stamps with certificates describing them as fake, and then with the current catalog value and a wistful "if genuine" clause.

The icing on the cake, so to speak, is to then offer a limited-time, 10 percent off discount, if you act now.

Maybe the guy isn't as dumb as we all think...

Heck, if people want fake revenues that badly, I'm happy to make some up on request for $20 each... no cert telling you the stamp is bad, but hey, you have my personal GUARANTEE that the stamp will be fake!

An excellent idea!

Since this guy is asking around 2% of catalog value for his certified fakes, undercut him by asking only .5%!

Better yet, maybe http://guaranteedstampfakes.com is available??

Jim

p.s. The scary thing is, people are actually buying this stuff. From his feedback:
