Check out this ebay auction by nystamps. The title of the auction lists R131 (the $50 second issue stamp), but the picture clearly shows R115 (the 50c stamp). Bidding is up over $50 on a stamp that catalogs $1.40. Do you believe the pic or the heading? Or is there something else at play here that I am missing?

Nothing. Most likely a simple mistake. I have sent an e-mail through e-bay informing him of the mistake. Hopefully, he will terminate the sale.

Look at the bidding activity(%) of the bidders. The ignorant faithful? Yet with thousands of bidding experience?

Well it sold for $68. Unbeliveble. So the high bidder either got a hell of a deal or is going to be shocked with what he receives.

I have often reached out to NYstamps about some of their listings also..seems to often fall on deaf ears. Maybe its the shear volume of 0.99 cents stamps that he is constantly listing that keeps him so busy--IDK
