I am a newbie.
It may seem dumb to a lot of the established members(ppl with pillar of community etc) but I was wondering how some of you guys can identify stamps so quickyly and easily- any tips or tricks?

Thanks,
Jamie

Hi Jamie,

Knowledge is the key and a forum like this is great asset to improve your knowledge.

Building your Knowledge takes time but with 100s of members with a variety of collecting experience this is a major advantage.

Join a stamp club, always looking for new members.

Surround yourself with as much information ( Websites & Reference Material/catalogs)

Lastly Study the stamps themselves (bulk lots/collections , Kilo- ware & soak and sort.

all the best

Jason
