Hopefully many of you have something planned, below is my cover postmarked from my hometown of Pawhuska, OK. I have mailed off these to all the pictorial stations and places like Sundance, WY and Sun City, KS.

Neat cover. I did mail a bunch of cover to ebay buyers today using that stamp, but they'll be postmarked Pownal, Vermont. Only a 65% or so eclipse here.

Go outside and check out the eclipse.

Make a safe Sun projector to watch solar eclipses with a pair of binoculars or a telescope.

At a nearby park a sizable crowd gathered. I could hear a loud roar of approval as the eclipse took full effect. Very strange light for about 2 minutes.

I made 3 simple covers, but up here in MA the eclipse was a waste of time. Maybe those with the special specs saw something, but to me it was barely even dark outside! Oh well...

did you have to use a lens filter like I read you needed? (otherwise I would have tried myself) Curious...

Very interesting cover project. I collect FDC's but I never made my own ones. Maybe I should try one day.
