Anyone know of a legitimate source for the pages from Scott or Stanley Gibbons catalogs for the China Treaty Port stamps? I purchased an assortment of these stamps for my One-From-Each collection and I want to identify them by cat #, Scott preferably.

Thanks,
Terry

Michael Rogers sold Rogers pages for China Treaty Ports when he had his shop in Florida. He is now affiliated with Kelleher. I don't recall seeing anything on his old site about the pages; old site is still active; but haven't looked since I already have a set.

Scott Classic Specialized catalogue from the library or purchase an older copy but make sure it contains the treaty ports. Make a copy in your own home for your own use?

Timcca, if you want the catalog pages you might try to contact chirokmd through ebay. He sells Scott catalog pages and his prices are reasonable.

Thanks to all for your responses. I'll check the St. Louis County Library next time I'm in town.

@tlmcca

I think Scott regular catalog has them under Shanghai. Also, there are specialized treaty port catalogs written by Livingston and Wei-liang Chow. Another source is the Chan Catalog specialized in China stamps before 1949.

Here are the Shanghai Scott catalogue pages for sale. No China Treaty Ports.

Looks like the Scott publication which includes the Treaty Port stamps is Scott Classic Specialized Catalogue: Stamps and Covers of the World Including U.S. 1840-1940. I'd appreciate it if anyone who owns a copy and can verify that.

My local library system has a copy of the 2005 version and I've requested it. I hope that's it!
