A Glitch In The Ebay Feedback System?

How does a seller get a couple dozen identical feedbacks from the same buyer for the same item?

I think I have seen this when a buyer buys a number of different items but they are put on a single invoice. For some reason the feedback system sees it as a single item like this but it really was a number of different items. Note; I have not verified that this is what is happening but recall seeing it do this a few times on some of my transactions.

This occurs like Don says, multiple lots on a single invoice. Delcampe gives the same feedback to all items on a single invoice - I'm not sure about ebay which I don't use that much but I would presume the feedback systems of these online auction sites work in the same way

I have not seen the situation where multiple lots on a single invoice results in only one Feedback opportunity. I confess I will use the same Feedback string (via cut and paste) for multiple purchases, mainly because my creative juices are not adequate to come up with something appropriate to write in three different ways. Each transaction in the invoice group was pretty much the same experience for me.

Thank you for the comments, but I very frequently purchase a number of different items from the same seller and pay for all of them from one invoice.

The key is that each item has its own ebay item number, so feedback can be left for each one as if it was a unique transaction.

However, note that the feedback in this case is all for the same item number.

It's as if something got "stuck" in the ebay feedback system.

20 were sold, most if not all of them to this buyer, so all appear in feedback under the same item number.

No glitch. No shennanigans.

Oh, its the British Cartel. He is pumping up his feedbacks?

Dunno. But multiple feedbacks from the same buyer on the same item number is not necessarily indicative of anything wrong.

I personally have purchased multiples of consumer goods or electronic items from a single listing and my feedback to them shows up like the listing above.

We just don't see this pattern in collectibles categories very often, as bulk or versioned listings tend not to be used. The items tend to have individual characteristics that don't lend themselves to this particular listing format.
