Hi all, what does the family think?

Got this old ratty cover, but with 220c used as the stamp.

What is your opinion, keep it, trash the whole thing, or soak stamp over?

I would keep it on the cover. It's a common stamp, but the variety makes it a more interesting corner-card cover. The stamp off cover would be damaged, and practically worthless.

I concur, keep it on the cover.

Yep, on cover. The stamp is too damaged to have any value off cover.

Even if the stamp were not damaged - leave it on cover. Don't destroy postal history.

I'd leave it on. It's a reasonably interesting cover and even more interesting when you look at how 300 Warren St. looks today.
